“Bregović will be the main star of this year’s New Year’s Eve concert in Sofia organized by the Bulgarian national television (BNT), which marks its 50th anniversary. Apart from Goran, several Bulgarian music stars will also perform and the Bulgarian television will broadcast the concert live from Sofia,” Raka Maric, Bregović’s manager, told the Blic newspaper.
According to the publication, Bregović will receive 150,000 euro for his performance at the Sofia concert, which has become a traditional way to ring in the New Year for residents and visitors of the capital, who flood to the central square on the night of December 31.
Before his performance in Sofia, Bregović has scheduled concerts in Italy, according to the publication. In the spring, he will be playing at the opening of Expo exhibition in Shanghai, as well as in Beijing, where he will most likely hold two concerts.
