14 May 2010 | Serbian Railways, along with many of the city’s more standard art institutions, will take part in the Night of the Museums events on 15 May, the company announced.

Between 6pm on Saturday and 2am on Sunday, the public will be able to visit the Serbian Railways Museum, the ceremonial hall of the Belgrade Central Railway Station and the museum in Požega, with its narrow gauge lines division, the company’s website reported recently.

Exclusively for the Night of the Museums event, Serbian Railways will exhibit the Blue and Romance trains in the Belgrade Railway Station and all visitors with the Night of the Museums tickets will be able to see these trains from the inside.

In addition, in the station’s hall, an exhibition will open of photographs, sculptures and models of rail men-artists.

A raffle will also be held, with the main prize’s being a trip for two with the museum train Romance and two dinners.

The cultural centre in Požega will screen short films about the railways.
