The five-minute film was included in the Sundance Short Film Festival Program, and was the first Bulgarian participant in almost two decades to take part in the prestigious forum for independent cinema, which takes place this year between January 15 and 25 in four cities in the state of Utah.
Omelette, which was created as part of the film anthology 15 released to mark the 15th anniversary of the prestigious weekly newspaper Capital, was dedicated to the year 1996 and told the story of a young woman struggling to make ends meet. The film stars another young Bulgarian director – Svetla Tsotsorkova.
