Alleged Israeli airstrikes target the city of Homs in Syria

Airstrikes were reported in the Syrian province of Homs after one on Saturday morning. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the airstrikes and claimed they were carried out by Israel.

The same organization and other sources on Syrian social media also accused Israel of several rounds of airstrikes in late March and early April. Among the accidents that occurred at Dabaa airport near Qusayr.

A number of media sources on the Internet claimed that the Syrian regime’s air defenses intercepted missiles in the sky of Homs governorate, north of Damascus. Aleppo Today website claimed that Israel bombed “sites of the Assad regime and Iranian militias.” Russia’s Sputnik also reported the incident. Sputnik attributed its report to the Syrian Al-Watan media.
