Google’s Pixel Watch will be unveiled on October 6 alongside the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The company had already teased the smartwatch back in May, and in the meantime a slew of details about it have been leaked — including a purported $399 price tag for the LTE-capable version in the US.
Today, a price range has come up, this time for the base model without LTE (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth only) in the EU, and it is clear that this range will sell for anywhere between €250 and €350. That’s a huge range to talk about, but assuming the actual price ends near the lower side of this range, it’s basically in line with a lot of competitors – for reference, note that the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 40mm starts at €300.
Regardless of the price, we are also dealing with the alleged official names of the three colorways the Pixel Watch will be shown – Chalk, Charcoal and Obsidian. This definitely sounds like Google, and it’s good to note that two highly anticipated Pixel 7 devices will also be introduced at Obsidian – which is Google’s way of saying “black” in 2022.
The Pixel Watch will have a circular OLED display, Samsung Exynos 9110 SoC, Cortex-M33 processor, 1.5GB or 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a 300mAh battery, and will run normally on OS wear.
