The All-Pro tight end skipped a volunteer media appearance this week.
In addition to Kelsey, eight other Chiefs were absent: tight end Blake Bell, defensive tackle Chris Jones, running back Jerrick McKinnon, running back Isiah Pacheco, left tackle Donovan Smith, wide receiver Emyr Smith-Marsett, cornerback Larios Snead, wide receiver Kadarius Toni and defensive tackle Turk Wharton.
For his second straight media look, Trent McDuffie was training without a helmet. Safety Mike Edwards and offensive tackle Chukwuebuka Jason Godrick were also spotted without their helmets.

Pacheco (Off-season surgeries) Wharton (Anterior cruciate ligament rupture) is assumed to be rehabilitating her. Snead was seen without a helmet on the third day but did not take to the field on the sixth. Last week, coach Andy Reid confirmed that keeping both McDuffie and Sneed was a precaution.
Tight end Jodi Fortson and defensive tackle Derek Nadi—who were not seen in practice on Day 3—were present on Day 6.
