Peyton Hillis broke his silence about saving his two children from drowning.
The former NFL star revealed that he expects a full recovery as he expressed his gratitude for “love and prayers” in a lengthy social media post on Tuesday.

I haven’t done any interviews about this because I want to keep my family out of the public eye because it was a very traumatic time for us.
But I wanted to come here and show my appreciation for everyone who helped save my life and all of your prayers, love and support.
I left the hospital without any worries or concerns and I should be making a 100 percent recovery.
I am a very lucky and blessed man. The Lord has truly blessed me and I am so grateful.
The former jockey, 37, was released from hospital on January 21 – nearly three weeks after the horrific accident.
His sister Hayley Davis also jumped into the water to help save the children and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
She added that the incident “shaken” their family’s lives last month after the unresponsive Hillis was airlifted to the hospital from Pensacola Beach.
Well-wishers attended a prayer vigil in Hillis’ home state of Arkansas and extended their support to the former NFL star.
Former Browns member Chris Ogbonaya asked fans on Twitter to pray for his old teammate: ‘Please keep your former teammate Peyton Hillis in your thoughts and prayers,’ as football fans paid tribute to his ‘amazing dad’ Hillis.
Hillis had volunteered as an assistant coach on his son’s team. That son, Uri, and Hillis’ young daughter were unharmed in the swimming accident.
Pictures from the scene on January 4 showed a helicopter and two ambulances at the crash, and another adult was also taken to hospital, he said. TMZ.
Former Brown star Hillis has been attempting acting in recent years and appeared in the horror film The Hunting in 2021.
He co-starred with partner and actress Angela Cole, who gave updates on his progress, in this movie, and they are now dating.
The movie was a kind of homecoming for Hillis, as it was shot in the Cleveland suburb of Mantua, Ohio.
Cole first announced their relationship in a Facebook post on July 6, 2022. Hillis divorced the mother of his children, Amanda, in 2020.
After beginning his professional career with the Denver Broncos, Hillis was traded to the Browns along with sixth-round pick for backup QB Brady Quinn.
In four years at the University of Arkansas, Hillis totaled 960 rushing yards and 1,197 receiving yards while scoring 23 touchdowns.
Known for his 2010 season with Cleveland, Hillis put up 1,600 total yards and 13 total touchdowns. As a result of that campaign, he won a national vote to be the cover athlete for the EA Sports Madden 12 video game.
