earlier this year, 9to5Mac Find out that Apple was working on Change the iTunes Pass mark as “Apple Account Card” In the Wallet app with iOS 15.5. Although this feature was not mentioned in the official release notes for iOS 15.5, the Apple Account Card is now available and available to users running the latest version of the operating system.
The Apple Account Card comes to replace the iTunes Pass, which was a pass users could add to the Wallet app to check their Apple ID balance. The card contains a QR code that allows customers to purchase products in Apple retail stores.
Now, instead of going through, customers can use their Apple ID balance as a regular Apple Pay card with their Apple Account Card. This way, instead of having to show a QR code when shopping in the Apple Store, the user will be able to complete the purchase using Apple Pay. Of course, the credit can also be used to purchase apps, movies, and subscribe to Apple services.
Your account balance can be used to purchase products, accessories, apps, games, and more online or in-store with Apple Pay.
Another benefit of the Apple Account Card is that it is now easier to access your Apple ID balance. While an iTunes Pass must be manually added to the Wallet app through the App Store, the Apple Account Card almost automatically appears in the Wallet app. All you have to do is click on the “+” button and finish the setup by clicking on “Add Apple Account”.
One thing to keep in mind is that the card is only shown to users who have some The available balance on their Apple ID.
It appears that the feature is being rolled out gradually to users using iOS 15.5. Were you able to add your Apple Card to the Wallet app? Let us know in the comments below.
