The Rock’s daughter slams haters who don’t like her name in professional wrestling

Simon Johnson is a slice of the old block – up to a point.

Daughter of a wrestling legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – World Health Organization Signed a deal with WWE in 2020but her debut was postponed due to a knee injury She announced Sunday that she would be known in the ring as Ava Reign when she changed her name on Twitter.

However, when she announced her new WWE alter ego, wrestling fans on Twitter were disappointed that the daughter of “The Rock” wasn’t going to “The Pebble”.

Just like a real professional wrestler, Simon Johnson, quickly resisted by retweeting someone who made a pretty obvious joke.

Simon Johnson then doubled down on how tired he was of the joke by posting a Google search of different types of rocks. She captioned the photo, “Nothing in this category please xx.”

But when Twitter users kept pushing, Simone Johnson jumped the ropes and lashed out at the criticism.

“Maybe I sound like a broken record and hope this is the last thing I remember, but I don’t understand why people being portrayed as individuals separated from their last name are such a hot topic,” she said in a tweet. “The name does not disparage any previous accomplishments of any family.”

The 20-year-old is a fourth generation wrestler. Her father was a 10-time WWE World Champion before turning his focus to acting. Her grandfather, Rocky Johnson, and her great-grandfather Peter “High Chef” Maivia are the WWE Hall of Famers.
