The Rock’s daughter slams haters who don’t like her name in professional wrestling

Simon Johnson then doubled down on how tired he was of the joke by posting a Google search of different types of rocks. She captioned the photo, “Nothing in this category please xx.”

But when Twitter users kept pushing, Simone Johnson jumped the ropes and lashed out at the criticism.

“Maybe I sound like a broken record and hope this is the last thing I remember, but I don’t understand why people being portrayed as individuals separated from their last name are such a hot topic,” she said in a tweet. “The name does not disparage any previous accomplishments of any family.”

In a follow-up tweet, she added that she “could build my entire career around my parents and people would still attack me anyway.”

The 20-year-old is a fourth generation wrestler. Her father was a 10-time WWE World Champion before turning his focus to acting. Her grandfather, Rocky Johnson, and her great-grandfather Peter “High Chef” Maivia are the WWE Hall of Famers.

Given this — and that Simone Johnson decided to name Ava Raine for the first time with a GIF of Fairuza Balk’s Nancy Downs from 1996’s “The Craft”, and used Nancy’s photo for the banner on her account — haters are advised to back off ASAP.
