On Monday it became clear that no members of the exiled royal family were required to attend the festivities.

“I’m afraid it’s a reflection of the state of relationships right now,” said one source told Daily Mail columnist Richard Eden.

This is said to be the first time Harry has not been welcomed into his father’s official birthday celebrations.

“When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left their royal duties three years ago, Queen Elizabeth said they would always remain much loved members of my family,” an insider told the outlet.

Harry spent less than 28 hours in the UK, landing in London on a commercial flight the night before his coronation.

The duke arrived at King Charles’ coronation alone at Westminster Abbey, without Meghan, 41, and it was the first time he had seen his father since he released his bombshell memoir Spear in January.

It’s reported that Harry didn’t see or speak to his estranged family outside of the ceremony, despite briefly filtering through Buckingham Palace during his speedboat.
